Academic Advisors
Undergraduate students are assigned to an advisor according to their program of study. Advising by major allows us to best serve all of our students by having a deep knowledge of our majors and fostering stronger relationships between students, advisors, program directors, and faculty in each program. Students are urged to see their advisor a minimum of once per semester. Our philosophy is that we want to build relationships with our students and work with students in an ongoing and proactive manner.
Academic Advisors are available for drop-in hours 9-10am and 1-2pm Monday through Thursday by phone or Zoom, during the fall and spring semesters. Please call us at 520-621-7865 or see below for each advisor’s personal Zoom link.
Potential applicants to Teach Arizona or the Alternative MED for Secondary Education who already have earned a bachelor's degree should see the graduate coordinator in Teaching, Learning and Sociocultural Studies in room 702 or by phone at 520-621-7820.
