Frances Maria Montano

Senior Academic Advisor I

  • Frances Maria Montaño serves as Academic Advisor for the Leadership and Learning Innovation (LLI) major for the College of Education as well as for the following minors: Adolescents, Community & Education; Educational Psychology; Global Education; Leadership Studies & Practices; and Recreation & Sport in Communities, Parks & Schools. She works with students from both Main and the Fully Online campus.

    Before joining the college, she worked as an Enrollment Counselor for Arizona Online recruiting students for the online campus from a variety of majors including LLI.

    Frances graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Spanish with an emphasis in Translation & Interpretation and then pursued and completed her Master of Education with an emphasis in Community College and Higher Education from Northern Arizona University. 

    In her free time, Frances likes to spend time with friends and family, listening to music and traveling (pre-COVID).
