Participate in Teach Arizona from anywhere in the state! You can live and student teach in your hometown while earning your Master’s degree from the University of Arizona. The Phoenix/Statewide Teach Arizona program is taught in a hybrid format – the internship in your hometown school district is completed in person, and your courses are a combination of online work and synchronous Zoom class sessions. Find out the dates and times of the courses in the Phoenix/Statewide program.
Teach Arizona students are eligible for Arizona Teachers Academy funding, which pays full tuition and mandatory fees in exchange for an agreement to teach for ONE year in an Arizona public school following graduation. After submitting your Teach Arizona application, please email Dr. Patty Stowers if you wish to be considered for Academy funding. That funding is limited so please apply for Teach Arizona as soon as possible.
All Teach Arizona applications are individually assessed. Teach Arizona faculty are happy to answer individual questions about your fit for this program. Please contact us if you have any questions throughout the application process.
