The Teaching and Learning M.A. program supports you in developing and expanding your teaching tools. In this 2-year program, you’ll learn the latest information about teaching and learning while specializing in an area that matches your interests. The program has a fully distance-based option with synchronous classes over zoom.

Prepare for a new position in education through an advanced study of teaching and learning

Sample Courses
Courses of the program are delivered in-person. Core coursework of the teaching and teacher education program includes courses like TLS 570 (Introduction to Educational Research) and TLS 539 (Recent Research on Teaching and Schooling). In addition to 9 credits of core coursework, students must complete coursework in their selected area of specialization (education or subject matter).
Careers
The majority of the graduates of this program are teachers in schools and informal education institutions. Other graduates continue their education and go on to doctoral programs.
