Educational Psychology Accelerated M.A.

Interested in earning both your bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in as few as five years? Junior-level undergraduate students in the Bachelor of General Studies, Chemistry, and Leadership and Learning Innovation programs are invited to apply to the Accelerated Master's Program in Educational Psychology. In this program, students can take up to 12 graduate-level units in their senior year while paying undergraduate tuition and earn the 30-credit minimum master's degree just a year after completing their undergraduate studies.

Study the psychology of teaching and learning, human development, and measurement, statistics and research methodology
Prepare and present research through either a thesis or outcome assessment
Graduate with both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in as few as five years

Sample Courses

Careers

The program exposes students to emerging psychological research and theory, preparing them for a wide range of professional positions in education, government, and industry. Some graduates of the program work as directors of nonprofits like United Way, work for the Federal Reserve Board, and work in marketing and instructional data while others have gone on to pursue doctoral degrees.
