Congratulations Amanda Bogden!

June 10, 2024

Congratulations Amanda Bogden on being selected as a 2024 USDA HSI E.Kika De La Garza Fellowship Program

About Amanda Bogden:
Amanda Bogden is the Internship Program Manager at the Pasquinelli Career Center within the College of Agriculture, Life, and Environmental Sciences. In this role, she guides students in preparing for careers post-graduation. Amanda is also a Doctoral Candidate in Higher Education, focusing her research on the career readiness of Latinx students in Colleges of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). Before joining the University of Arizona, she spent five years working in commercial agriculture in California.

What are you look forward to learning as a fellow?
I am excited about discovering the diverse opportunities, programs, and scholarships offered by the USDA that I can share with the students I serve. My goal is to incorporate this newfound knowledge into our existing programming, enriching our offerings and providing valuable resources for our students.

Furthermore, I am eager to establish meaningful professional relationships with fellow participants in the program. By exchanging best practices and ideas, we can enhance our approaches and explore potential collaborations that will benefit our respective communities.
