Vanessa M. Perry is Associate Professor of Practice in the Counseling MA Program at the University of Arizona. Vanessa has worked as a clinical mental health counselor, vocational rehabilitation counselor, and disability rights advocate. She enjoys researching and learning about Spanish-English bilingual counseling, clinical supervision, and counselor education. In addition to serving as faculty, Dr. Perry is Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies. This role has enabled her to develop and implement a holistic admissions toolkit that furthers the HSI mission of the University of Arizona. In her free time she works as a Disaster Mental Health Volunteer for the American Red Cross.
