Thad Dugan, Ph.D., is an accomplished educator with a diverse background in educational leadership, policy, and special education. Holding a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Arizona, Dr. Dugan has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence throughout his career. His teaching experience as an adjunct professor includes courses such as School Finance, Curriculum and Data Literacy, and Supervision of the Instructional program. Additionally, Dr. Dugan has worked in Title 1 K-12 schools as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator.
Dr. Dugan’s scholarly contributions extend to book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles, exploring topics such as the impact of instructional programs and culturally responsive leadership in underperforming schools. Dr. Dugan has presented at state and national conferences, emphasizing critical consciousness development, leadership for social justice, and innovative approaches to teaching about leadership and ethics.
Dr. Dugan currently works as a Principal in the Sunnyside Unified School District and holds certifications in Special Education and School Counseling, as well as Principal and Superintendent certificates.
