Exciting news! Dr. Renae D. Mayes is collaborating in a groundbreaking project to equip high school counselors with the knowledge to guide students toward STEM and engineering careers.
The project, Developing Professional Learning Experiences in Engineering for High School Counselors, focuses on empowering counselors, often overlooked in STEM education, to support students in pursuing engineering and related fields. By helping counselors understand STEM pathways and key high school coursework, we aim to increase diversity and participation in STEM careers.
