Donate To Our Scholarships
Students who choose careers in education face major challenges in financing college knowing that the earning potential is low compared to other professions. Many of our students have high financial need; almost half of our undergraduate students receive Pell grants.
Due to the generosity of donors, this year the College of Education awarded 257 scholarships for a total of $535,000.
Scholarships relieve our students' financial burdens, freeing up valuable time to focus on their studies and gaining real-world experience through student teaching, internships, and research opportunities. The richer their experiences now, the more they will impact education in the future.
The College of Education offers a number of merit-based and need-based scholarships. By supporting this fund, you are helping us offer more scholarships this year!
The Erasmus Circle, named for the Renaissance scholar whose work in education changed humanity, is a society that provides significant financial support for the College of Education to advance the initiatives of the Dean in scholarship and faculty research. Erasmus Circle Scholars are high-achieving undergraduates and graduate students. Learn more about the program or give to the Erasmus Circle.
ATF is a merit-based scholarship program that is offered to selected undergraduates and graduate students who are committed to pursuing teaching careers in Arizona, with strong preference given to Southern Arizona school districts in the Greater Tucson Area. Scholarship awards are $2,000 per Fellow. To honor or memorialize a loved one on an endowment basis, a gift of $53,200 will generate $2,000 annually to sustain a Fellow in perpetuity.
