Rachel Moreno Barton

Director for Faculty Affairs / Assistant to the Dean

  • Assistant to the Dean Rachel M. Barton provides executive-level support to the dean and serves as the coordinator for faculty affairs, governance, and policies. Barton oversees the daily operations of the Office of the Dean administrative area, manages the dean’s calendar, works closely with the college’s key leadership team, and directs the information flow to and from the Office of the Dean. She is the staff resource on numerous college committees, in addition to serving as a productive and engaged member. When it comes to the college’s operations and history, Barton is the much sought-after expert, having worked in the Office of the Dean for more than 30 years.
