Panfilo Contreras

EPC Advisory Board Member

Panfilo H. Contreras has over forty years of management and personnel experience related to federally funded human resource, manpower and non-profit programs. From July 1998 to July 2011, he focused on representing the interested of local school boards across Arizona relative to all matters pertaining to the operation, management and governance of local school districts. A specific segment of that representation has been providing direct consultative assistance to local districts as the Executive Director for a private non-profit corporation. His experience spans professional, administrative and management positions in government and private companies including the Arizona School Boards Association, State of Arizona Department of Economic Security, the Aluminum Company of America, District IV Council of Governments, and the Migrant Opportunity Program.

As a community volunteer most of his life, he has served on a variety of boards and committees at the community, state and national levels. He continues to volunteer as member of the Hands Across the Border Foundation, Arizona Business and Education Coalition and the Arizona Minority Education Policy Analysis Center.

Semi-retired, Panfilo is now conducting services as an independent consultant to assist private, non-profit organizations and school districts in all aspects of governance and organizational operations.
