Maryam is currently pursuing a PhD in Teaching, Learning, and Sociocultural Studies, with a particular interest in the fascinating world of bi/multilingualism and second language acquisition. Her previous experience teaching English as a foreign language and training other language teachers has given her a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of language learning. Maryam is particularly drawn to exploring the issues both ESL/EFL language learners and teachers encounter, and seeking constructive response for those problems. Also, as a lifelong language learner, She is always eager to delve into the intricate connections between languages and cultures, and to unravel the unique complexities of intercultural communication.
