Dr. Lukretia Beasley-Knecht brings over 25 years of experience in education, having served as a high school teacher and administrator in Switzerland. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Arizona in 2017, followed by impactful post-doctoral work on a large school safety database. Transitioning to academia, Dr. Beasley-Knecht joined the faculty as an assistant professor of practice, where she dedicated her research to analyzing the effects of school climate and safety on racially and economically disadvantaged students.
Now retired, Dr. Beasley-Knecht remains passionate about education, continuing to contribute to the field by teaching EdD and MEd courses. Her commitment to understanding and improving the educational experiences of marginalized students reflects a career dedicated to fostering a positive impact on the educational landscape.
