Jeffrey Anthony

Research Development Professional II

  • Office of the Dean
  • Jeffrey Anthony, as Coordinator of Grants Development, serves the critical role in helping the UArizona College of Education’s efforts in research development for grants seeking to support the college’s efforts of diversity, equity, and inclusion in education research and programming. Jeffrey will bridge the efforts between the Research office and Development office to support the college-wide effort to increase grant submissions to national, state, and local agencies. Jeffrey will be the lead proposal support and point of contact for CoE team members interested in foundation partnerships and will be working directly with CoE faculty and staff in communicating their research and programmatic work to both sides of the funding activities in addition to building resources and providing proposal support through the identification of opportunities for submission.

Jeffrey will receive his Master of Public Administration from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences with a focus on collaborative governance and economic development. Previously Jeffrey worked for the City of Tucson as the Regional Economic Competitiveness Officer coordinating the efforts of the Southern Arizona Coalition for Climate Adaptation and Resilience, and prior to that role Jeffrey spent 17 years as a musicologist for Pandora radio working on the Music Genome Project.
