David L. Wodrich, PhD, is professor emeritus in the Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies at the University of Arizona. He was formerly faculty chair of the AU’s School Psychology Training Program. Dr. Wodrich previously held the Mary Emily Warner Professorship at Arizona State University after having served as Director of the Department of Psychology at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychology and a Fellow (Division 16) of the American Psychological Association. He is also a past editor-in-chief of the Journal of Applied School Psychology.
Dr. Wodrich is currently producing Open Access Resources (OAR) for graduate students, practitioners, and researchers. Finger-Tip Facts for School Psychologists: Definitions, Explanations, Links is a free, downloadable reference resource for school psychology students and practitioners. In contrast, Social-Emotional Assessment in Schools: Concepts and Cases is a comprehensive text suited to graduate students as well as practicing school psychologists interested in updating their skills. The book is also open-access and free to the public.
With UA graduate students Megan Aros-O’Malley and Andrew Tesoro, Dr. Wodrich devised EdMedKids to support teachers and families of children with chronic pediatric illness.
