Dr. Mruczek has a passion for supporting educators as they lead efforts to redress issues of equity in schools, districts, and communities. She has experience working in K-12 public schools as a special and general educator, as well as an instructional coach for new and veteran teachers. Her graduate studies were completed at Arizona State University in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. She partners with schools across the country, supporting school leaders as they strive to develop inclusive school communities. Dr. Mruczek's interests are centered on educator learning and leading equitable efforts and initiatives in classrooms and school systems. Most recently, she was faculty in the Department of Special Education at the University of Kansas, where she served as the coordinator of the Leadership in Special and Inclusive Education graduate certificate program. She joins the University of Arizona with close to 25 years of teaching experience at the K-21+ level. She is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Educational Policy Studies and Practice Department and is the Director of the Doctorate of Education program in Educational Leadership and Policy (EDLP).
