We are honored to invite you to a special academic memorial and celebration of life in tribute to Dr. Luis C. Moll on Friday September 20, 2024 at 2:30pm-University of Arizona Campus (Book)Store at the Student Union.
Dr. Luis Moll dedicated over three decades to our university, profoundly impacting local and international teachers, educators, students, faculty, and staff.
Dr. Moll’s commitment to social and educational justice for minoritized families, children, and youth was evident in every aspect of his work. His pioneering theoretical framework, "Funds of Knowledge," developed in collaboration with educators and anthropologists, has significantly influenced policy and educational strategies, championing the well-being and best practices for Latinx and diverse communities.
Join us as we celebrate Dr. Moll’s extraordinary contributions to education, psychology, language studies, and equity for Latinx and students of color.
We look forward to coming together to celebrate the remarkable life and work of Dr. Moll!
