Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead: Beloved Forever
We invite you to participate in the “Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead: Beloved Forever” event on October 20th held at the UA Central Mall (near the USS Arizona Mall Memorial). This event is organized through the University of Arizona’s President Office, Hispanic Serving Institute (HSI) Initiatives, the Mexican Consulate in Tucson, UArizona partners and community sponsors.
This Mexican celebration is a pre-Hispanic tradition of celebrating ancestors and passed loved ones. This year, the event on campus is offering a volunteer opportunity to the Wildcat Community to participate in the design of an artistic tapestry. This art design will be coordinated by two artists from Mexico. It would be an honor to have you volunteer in celebration of this event. There are multiple times you can choose from to volunteer.
