Congratulations to Trina Zimmermann on being named the College of Education's Educator of the Year! The 2nd Annual Award is presented by the Dean's Advisory Board, a group of diverse undergraduate students who represent the voices, concerns, and interests of the student body.
Zimmermann was selected solely by students as the winner. This is what they had to say about her, "Students raved about how she knows how to properly engage with students while pushing them to think about challenging topics. And still inspires them to be their best! Some students say how while in her class they never feel bored and always encourage their peers to take one of her classes! Students love how much she has made a positive influence on their lives. And how she makes everyone feel so welcomed and valued every class. One student said “I really feel she not only has been a great instructor academically but has really gone that extra mile to make sure we have a positive experience at the University of Arizona both academically and also on a personal level!"
