Mobilizing Decolonial Praxis Conference

Greetings ITEP Teachers, Supporters, and Community!

We are excited to announce our upcoming Mobilizing Decolonial Praxis Conference on June 15 and 16, 2023.

This is an opportunity for our Indigenous educators, elders, and youth to come together and share our expertise in working with our Indigenous communities.

The goals of the conference are to:

1. 1. Share ITEP teachers' efforts in decolonizing curriculum and pedagogy;
2. 2. Cultivate a critical Indigenous consciousness that engages justice-centered pedagogies; and
3. 3. Create opportunities for participants to develop critical Indigenous curriculum that advances the goal of teaching through Indigenous philosophies and languages to sustain Indigenous identities.
