Kayla Mariah Batt-Hernandez

Senior Coordinator, Grants and Personnel Svcs

  • Kayla has been with the College of Education for 2 years but has worked at the University of Arizona for 5 years. She graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a minor in Criminal Justice and spent a year interning with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office of Victim Services. As the Senior Coordinator for COE’s new Grants Management Team, she manages the portfolios for:

    Dr. John Umbreit
    Dr. Gary Rhoades
    Dr. Stephanie MacFarland
    Dr. Erin Turner

    Kayla also assists with training the Grants Team and serving as a resource contact for any questions coming in. Outside of work, Kayla is the President of Education for UA Toastmasters and enjoys listening to country music while sipping on her Starbucks White Peppermint Mocha.
