Amanda LeClair-Diaz is Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho. She is originally from Ft. Washakie, WY, which is located on the Wind River Reservation in central Wyoming. She is a doctoral candidate in the Teaching, Learning, and Sociocultural Studies Department at the University of Arizona. Her major is in Indigenous Education and her minor is in Teaching and Teacher Education.
