Cindy Volk, Ph.D., is the project director of the Educational Interpreting Emphasis. She has a Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Arizona. She has been an interpreter educator for 15 years. She has national certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (CI, CT) and is a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults).
