Marjorie Holiman (Ph.D, University of Arizona) is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Educational Psychology. She teaches the pre-practicum course, which focuses on teaching counselors how to listen, set goals, and problem-solve with clients. She is interested in research that evaluates counselor-training programs and for twenty five years has supervised graduate students in psychology and school counseling. Marjorie has been in private practice as a licensed psychologist since 1986 and works with depression, anxiety, developmental disabilities, and trauma. She also helps children and families learn new skills and change the way they relate to each other.
