The first stop for any undergraduate student considering a career in education is the Office of Student Services. Our advisors provide academic advising for prospective students, pre-education and pre-physical education students, current majors, and post-baccalaureate students. We also provide information about how to apply to our teacher preparation program, degree requirements, certification requirements, and finding a teaching position.

If you are interested in declaring an Education major, your first step is to complete the On-Line General Information Session, which will give you a program overview. CURRENT EDUCATION STUDENTS

Students who are currently in the College of Education as pre-majors or as majors can call the Office of Student Services at 520-621-7865 or stop by the Student Services desk in Education 247 (on the ground floor at the west end of the Education building) to make an appointment with an advisor. Appointments are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis; however, advising is limited during Priority Advising weeks to students from the priority groups. Bring your SAPR, plan of study, unofficial transcripts, or any other pertinent papers to the appointment.S tudents are assigned an advisor based on the first digit of their last name:

WALK-IN ADVISING

Walk-in advising sessions are 15 minute sessions for emergency situations or quick questions. Walk-in advising is generally held from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays from August through May. To schedule a walk-in, call 621-7865 the morning of the day you would like an appointment.
