Master of Education in Bilingual /
Bicultural Education, M.Ed.

The master's program provides students with a foundational understanding of the concepts, methods and theories related to language, reading and culture. Emphasis is placed on developing abilities and competencies which lead to improvements in teaching/learning processes within the classroom. The master's program is also the basis for higher level degrees.

The Master of Education program has been developed exclusively for off-campus students. A faculty advisor works closely with the student to assure appropriate coursework is taken. A specially designed sequence of required courses is available to acquire a K-12 State Bilingual/ESL or ESL Endorsement.
